Product Overview

UrbanLite

UrbanLite is a city-scale smart street lighting management system that turns passive municipal lighting infrastructure into an instrumented, accountable network. It operates 6,000+ smart poles across city roads and highways from a single Integrated Command & Control Centre, replacing fixed manual schedules and physical fault inspection with real-time remote control.

Traditional municipal lighting runs on timers and reactive maintenance. A lamp fails and the city learns of it days later, when a citizen complains and an inspection crew is dispatched to confirm it. Energy is wasted, power theft goes undetected, and no one holds a single view of which asset sits where or whether a contractor actually fixed what they were paid to fix.

UrbanLite closes each of those gaps. Operators control brightness and scheduling remotely, with astronomical timers, motion-triggered dimming and weather-adaptive brightness. The platform detects and names faults — lamp failure, power theft, under-voltage, surge, water ingress, tamper — and raises a tracked ticket for each. A GIS pole map with geo-fencing groups assets by zone, while QR and GPS tagging ties every pole to its OEM warranty. Field engineers work through an offline-capable mobile app that navigates them to faults and captures geo-tagged proof of closure. AI/ML predictive detection anticipates failures, energy analytics feed ESG reporting, and citizen fault reports are deduplicated automatically.

Deployed as multi-tenant, multi-city SaaS, UrbanLite lets one instance serve many cities — turning a municipal contract into recurring, scalable infrastructure.

UrbanLite

Key Features

Capabilities built for real operations

Adaptive remote control

remote on/off and dimming, astronomical timers, motion-triggered dimming, weather-adaptive brightness, holiday scheduling and city-wide emergency override

Fault detection that names the fault

lamp failure, power theft, under-voltage, surge, water ingress, tamper and communication loss, each raising an auto-assigned ticket with SLA tracking

GIS spatial intelligence

interactive pole map with geo-fencing and zone grouping for school zones, hospital zones and highway segments

Offline field operations

mobile app with QR scanning, turn-by-turn fault navigation and geo-tagged photo/video proof of closure

Predictive maintenance & ESG

AI/ML failure detection, anomaly monitoring, energy analytics and sustainability reporting

Asset & citizen loop

QR/GPS asset tagging with OEM warranty lifecycle tracking, plus deduplicated citizen fault reporting

How It Works

A clear path from setup to results

01

Connect

smart poles and gateways are commissioned and tied to the platform, with gateway redundancy and feeder fail-safe built in.

02

Map & tag

each pole is QR/GPS tagged, placed on the GIS map, and grouped into zones with attribute-based rules.

03

Control

the ICCC team sets schedules and dimming policy, or overrides them in real time from the dashboard or field app.

04

Detect

the platform continuously monitors for faults and anomalies, raising and assigning a tracked ticket the moment one appears.

05

Resolve

a field engineer is navigated to the fault, works offline if needed, and closes the ticket with geo-tagged photographic proof.

06

Analyse

energy, fault and ESG analytics feed dashboards for the operations team and city leadership.

FAQ

Common questions, clear answers

UrbanLite is built around IoT smart poles and gateways with QR/GPS asset tagging and OEM warranty tracking. Compatibility depends on your current hardware; our team scopes this during assessment.

The field app is offline-capable. Engineers scan QR codes, navigate to faults and capture geo-tagged proof without connectivity; work syncs on reconnect.

Yes. Fault detection spans lamp failure, power theft, under-voltage, surge, communication loss, water ingress and tamper — each raising a tracked ticket automatically.

Through astronomical timers, motion-triggered dimming, weather-adaptive brightness and scheduling — with energy analytics and ESG reporting to evidence the savings.

Yes. UrbanLite is multi-tenant, multi-city SaaS — one instance serves many cities with tenant isolation.

Citizen fault reporting includes deduplication, so many reports of the same dark street collapse into a single ticket.

The ICCC operations team runs the live dashboard, alarm triage and remote commands; field maintenance engineers handle resolution; city leadership consumes energy and ESG KPIs.
